Ralph Nader announces presidential run, but not whether Green or Independent
Ralph Nader has announced he will be running for President again in 2008, but has not yet announced whether he will seek the Green Party nomination as he did in 2000, or whether he will run as an Independent. Democrats pounced on his announcement as an irrelevant perennial affair, while Greens welcomed the need for third party participation in the presidential race.
